Future of Avant-Garde Celluloid Film Distribution in Peril

This story was in the NY Times yesterday and it has a direct impact on us and our future possibilities of renting 16mm films.  All the amazing films you guys and gals have seen and loved this semester has come from these two distributors, Canyon Cinema in San Francisco and Filmmakers Cooperative in NYC.
